The Saint Vincent Boys' Grammar School won an unprecedented 6th straight title in the male category of the Inter-Secondary School's Athletics Championships for 2017.

They came out on top with a total of 298 points, ahead of the second place finishers, the Saint Martin's Secondary School, which had a total of 224 points. They were closely followed by the Central Leeward Secondary School which finished third with a total of 211 points.

In the female category, the Central Leeward Secondary School dealt a massive blow to last year's champions, the Saint Vincent Girls' High School, by winning comprehensively with a margin of over 100 points. The Central Leeward Secondary School won with a total of 347 points. Second place went to last year's champions, the Saint Vincent Girls' High School, who finished with a total of 225 points. The Bethel High School placed third with 190 points.
