The Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines commends the State of Qatar and His Highness, the Emir, Sheik Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani for their extraordinary efforts in facilitating the recent swap of prisoners/detainees between the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and the United States of America. The swap took place in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines on the island of Canouan on Wednesday, 20th December, 2023.
