The Republic of China on Taiwan, the Mustique Charitable Trust and SOL St. Vincent Ltd. made donations to the Questelles Government School in the aftermath of a fire which damaged a section of the school.
A formal Swearing-In Ceremony for members of the Police Service Commission and the Public Service Commission was held on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at Government House.
BRAGSA’s CEO, Kem Bartholomew, said the entity will work towards rebuilding the Questelles Government School with reconstruction work expected to be completed in three months. Bartholomew said preliminary assessment indicates that while the roof, which was made of timber was completely destroyed by the fire, the “front facade which is predominantly a stone wall structure is in good tact.”
