On Monday, 21st April 2026, the world, for the first time, observed the International Day of Women in Industry (IDWI), recognising women’s contributions to industrial development and showcasing how their leadership, innovation, and resilience are helping to shape economies, advance technologies, and drive the green and digital transition the world urgently needs.
