The second phase of the Enhancing Public Safety With Intelligent Video Analytics Project was officially launched at the Questelles Police Station on Friday, 29th September, 2023.
Updated preliminary results of the May/June 2023 Caribbean Examinations Council Secondary Education Certificate Examinations (CSEC) were received on 20 September, 2023, in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. This year, 2133 candidates were registered. Of these, 1486 were school candidates and 647 were private candidates.
October is officially National Parks Authority (NPA) Awareness Month. This year’s celebration will take place under the recurring theme: “Conserving Nature, Sustaining Lives.” To this end, the National Parks Authority has launched a month of activities aimed at cultivating a sense of pride in SVG’s natural, cultural, and historical treasures among our nation’s people.
Twenty nine (29) cultural and Twenty five (25) sporting ambassadors in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) were encouraged to engage Vincentian youth in the schools and their respective communities to help them develop and advance their skills and talents.
