Honourable Cecil McKie, Minister of Tourism, Sports and Culture, welcomed the first cruise ship of the season on 26th October. The Pullmantur Zenith, a 12-deck vessel is owned by Pullmantur Cruises, a division of Royal Caribbean International and can carry more than 1,800 passengers and 600 crew.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Commerce has partnered with Mr. Rodney Small and the production team of Steel Expressions - International. The Event is scheduled to take place on Saturday 30th December, at the Arnos Vale Playing Field from 6:00 p.m., and would feature international culture, cuisine and fashion.
Friday 3rd November was designated by the Cabinet of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines as Dominica Solidarity Day. To this end, a special ceremony was held on the grounds of the Financial Complex to commemorate the Commonwealth of Dominica’s 39th Anniversary of Independence.
