Due to the inclement weather, rivers to the North of the Rabacca Bridge have become impassable to vehicular traffic.
Parents and guardians of students affected, as well as school staff, are advised to exercise caution and remain at home.
The latest forecast issued by the Meteorological Office this morning stated that there is a flood watch in effect, as the tail end of a tropical wave continues to affect the islands.
Drivers transporting other children, to and from school, should remain alert, and residents in areas prone to flash flooding and landslides, or near rivers and streams should continue to exercise caution.
