The Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines joins with the rest of the international community in celebrating World Consumer Rights Day under UNCTAD theme “Empowering consumers for sustainable consumption”.

World Consumer Rights Day is an annual observation dedicated to highlighting the power of consumers and their rights for a fair, safe and sustainable marketplace for everyone.

In recognition of this day, the Department of Consumer Affairs and Commerce in the Ministry of the Public Service, Consumer Affairs and Sports will be hosting be mini exhibition on Tuesday, 15th March, 2022, in the car park next to the Post Office Building from 9:30 a.m. to 12 noon.

The exhibition will among other things showcase what the various Ministries and Departments have been doing and intends to do, to empower and inform consumer choice to support sustainable consumption through available tools, access to information and regulation.
