Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries Hon. Saboto Caesar has announced that plans are underway for the rehabilitation of the Owia and Chateaubelair Fisheries Centres.
Saint Vincent and the Grenadines was represented at the Eighth Session of the Global Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction (GPDRR), held in Geneva, Switzerland, from 2nd - 6th June, 2025.
The Ministry of the Public Service will host a week of activities to commemorate Public Service Week 2025. The events will run from 16th - 23rd June , under the theme: “Disaster-Ready Together: A Public Service Commitment to Resilience.”
A delegation from Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is actively participating in the ongoing Sixtieth Meeting of the Council for Trade and Economic Development (COTED), convened in Georgetown, Guyana. This critical gathering of regional Ministers and senior trade officials is taking place in a shifting global trade environment, as CARICOM Member States seek to reinforce economic resilience and deepen integration.
