His Excellency Dr. Jaushieh Joseph Wu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of China (Taiwan), will visit Saint Vincent and the Grenadines on Wednesday 29th  to Thursday 30th May 2019, as part of his official tour of the Caribbean.

His Excellency Dr. Jaushieh Wu will be accompanied by his spouse Mrs. Wu, along with other senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of China (Taiwan), including the Director-General of the Department of Latin American and Caribbean Affairs, Ambassador Tah-Ray Yui.

The Foreign Minister of the Republic of China (Taiwan) and his delegation will be given an official welcome upon their arrival at the Arygle International Airport.  During the official visit, His Excellency will tour several places of interest in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.   His Excellency will climax his visit with the signing of a Record of Donation for the procurement of vehicles to assist the Royal Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force, followed by a tour of the terminal building at the Argyle International Airport, which was funded by the Government of the Republic of China (Taiwan).

The Republic of China (Taiwan) and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines have a longstanding friendship since the countries established diplomatic ties on August 15th 1981.  Since then, our countries have enjoyed fruitful relations in areas such as people-to-people exchanges, education, health, agriculture, infrastructure development and technical cooperation.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Commerce, and by extension the Government of  Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, looks forward to welcoming the Foreign Minister, H.E. Dr. Jausheh Joseph Wu and his delegation.
