The Caribbean Development Bank has approved an additional sum of USD7.317 million to St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) to broaden the scope of an ongoing Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Development Project which was initially approved for funding in 2011. The Bank has also approved a Grant of USD330, 000.
On Tuesday March 15, 2016, the Consumer Affairs Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Trade, Commerce and Regional Integration in collaboration with the National Consumers Association will be celebrating World Consumer Rights Day by joining a global campaign to get Antibiotics off the Menu. Other key stakeholders include the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Agriculture, SVG Bureau of Standards, SVG Pharmaceutical Association and the SVG Medical Association.
The heads of social security agencies in CARICOM will gather here in St. Vincent and the Grenadines on Wednesday, March 16th, 2016, and Thursday, March 17th, for a high level training session.
