From 10th - 12th February, Ambassador Stephane Dovert, Regional Counselor for Co-operation of the French Republic, made an official visit to St. Vincent and the Grenadines to discuss the strengthening of partnership between this country and France, in areas of mutual interest such as education, health and culture.
While in the state, Ambassador Dovert made courtesy calls on Prime Minister, Hon. Dr. Ralph Gonsalves; Hon. Luke Browne, Minister of Health Wellness and the Environment; Mrs. Laura Browne, Director of Planning; Mr. Godfred Pompey, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of National Security; Ms. Lou-Ann Gilchrist, Chief Education Officer; and the National Trust.
St. Vincent and Grenadines and France have enjoyed excellent diplomatic relations since this nation’s attainment of political independence in 1979.
