The Royal Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force Band’s Summer programme 2022 is now in full swing after a two-year absence due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the eruption of La Soufriere.
Efforts to improve food security in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) have been further strengthened with the launch of a Food Terminal at the former La Croix Palletization Plant in Marriaqua.
In just 4 months of operations of the Rainforest Seafood Caribbean’s processing plant at Calliaqua, an estimated 3 million dollars in purchases have been acquired from over approximately 150 fishermen across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
Vincentian divers will have a new safety net when the Government procures a Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy chamber; this allows for divers who experience decompression sickness or “Bends” to be treated locally.
