The Argyle International Airport will soon receive much of its power from a clean, indigenous source.  This, as a solar farm is currently under construction which is designed to provide around 600 kilo watts of power.

Acting Chief Medical Officer Dr. Roger Duncan has expressed confidence in the health system’s ability to adequately test for the Monkeypox virus. Dr. Duncan was speaking during a health forum held on Tuesday, 2nd August, 2022, to update the nation on measures in place to detect and contain a possible spread of the disease.

The SVG Maritime Administration invites all Vincentian nationals and residents to participate in an essay competition on the theme “New Technologies for Greener Shipping”.

Minister of Education Hon. Curtis King is convinced that the Vincentian historical experience is something from which inspiration can be drawn.  King said Vincentians must be encouraged by the resilience of their forefathers in the struggle against slavery and colonialism.

Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is in for a cultural rebirth as the Department of Culture embarks on Emancipation month activities. Minister of Tourism and Culture Hon. Carlos James said the department will host activities in a number of communities across the country.
