Thirty-one (31) new COVID-19 positive cases were reported from two hundred and twenty-one (221) samples processed on Wednesday, June 9th, 2021, resulting in a positivity rate of 14.0%.
In solidarity with the Haitian people, on March 17, 2021 the Permanent Council of the Organisation of American States approved by consensus a resolution expressing concern over the grave political, security and human rights situation in Haiti and offered to send a Good Offices Mission.
