At its 90th Meeting on February 16th, 2018, the Monetary Council of the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB) took the decision to change the substrate of the EC banknotes from paper to polymer. In keeping with this, the ECCB has embarked on the Polymer Migration Project.

The transition from paper to polymer is a milestone in the history of the EC currency.

To apprise you of the developments of the project, we cordially invite you and one of your reporters to an informational session and discussion with a team from our Currency Management Department and Corporate Relations Department on Friday, 11th January 2019, from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. at the ECCB Agency Office, Frenches.
