The Ministry of National Mobilisation in collaboration with UNICEF has commenced a training of trainers family life education life skills programme for facilitators to train 500 families requiring income support from the Family Support Grant of the Public Assistance Programme and 500 Families on the Soufriere Relief Grant for displaced families due to the Eruption.
The training of facilitators will end on Friday for subsequent implementation in communities to 1000 families or participants beginning in the month of September for the next three months. This programme aims to provide psychosocial support and financial literacy to participating families while receiving financial support from the Government and associated donor partners.
