Members of the Vincentian public will get an opportunity later this week to learn more about the effects of climate change on Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and other regional countries when the Regional Security System (RSS), holds a panel discussion to this effect.

The panel discussion is scheduled to take place on Thursday 23rd, May 2019, 9:00 a.m. at the Methodist Church Hall and will look at the topic: Impact of Climate Change on RSS Member States.

Members of the panel will be drawn from the National Emergency Management Organisation (NEMO), Caribbean Community Climate Change Centre (CCCCC), Caribbean Regional Fisheries Mechanism (CRFM), Sustainable Development Unit (SVG), Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA) and the University of the West Indies (UWI), among others.

The discussion is being sponsored by the European Union 10th EDF project, and is being hosted by the RSS.
