As the government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines continues to put things in place to ensure that in the event of natural disasters there is enough food initially to feed its people; one of two recently constructed Satellite Warehouses will be opened on October 9th, 2018, at Noel in Sandy Bay.

The warehouses at Sandy Bay and Rose Hall were designed by the local architectural firm, TVA Consultants Ltd. TVA also supervised the construction at a combined total cost of approximately EC S308,000.00. Construction of the warehouse was done by Franco Construction Ltd and Williams Electronics Services of SVG.

The opening of the Satellite Warehouse at Noel in Sandy Bay is scheduled to begin at 2pm and will hear remarks from Michelle Forbes, Director at NEMO, Richard McLeish with the Project overview and Hon. Montgomery Daniel, Minister of Housing and Parliamentary Representative for the area. Prime Minister the Hon. Ralph Gonsalves will deliver the feature address.
