The Regional Integration and Diaspora Unit (RIDU) facilitated the distribution of two printers donated by the Toronto SVG Support Group to schools on mainland Saint Vincent. The Georgetown and Layou Government schools are the recipients of these printers.

The Toronto SVG Support Group is a Diaspora organization based in Canada and previously made donations of books and school supplies to various schools in 2017.

The Principals of the schools expressed gratitude to the members of the Toronto SVG Support group for their kind gesture and made commitments to take care of the items. Mr. Maxwell Charles, Deputy Director of the Regional Integration and Diaspora Unit, made the presentations of the items and reiterated RIDU`s commitment to working with the Diaspora by forging relationships which will benefit Vincentians both at home and abroad.
