The donation was made this morning by Minister Baptiste, who said upon visiting the Female Prison the officers indicated to her some of their needs at the institution.

Baptiste said that she is pleased to deliver on her first promise of a fridge and stove and said it would help to improve the conditions at the prison. She thanked the donors for their contribution and said she hopes that it will be of extraordinary use to the institution.

Corporal Irene Primus in charge of the female prison thanked Minister Baptiste for the gift which she said will make life more comfortable for the inmates.
