PRESS SECRETARY LEAVES FOR OAS MEETING
Press Secretary to the Prime Minister Hans King left the state today to participate in an international forum for government spokespersons organized by the Organisation of American States.
The forum commences this Thursday July 14 2007 in Montevideo, Uruguay.
It aims to enhance the ability of government spokespersons to confront the communication and governance challenges of the 21st century.
The conference also seeks to create a network of communication professionals throughout the Americas, whereby they can share experiences, ideas and promote dialogue. Representatives from all thirty-four of the OAS states are expected to be part of the forum.
This forum is a follow-up to the First Meeting of Government Spokespersons of the Americas, which took place in Santiago, Chile in August 2005.
