National Economic & Social Development Plan - Community Consultations
The North Windward Constituency will be the pioneer for a series of consultations to be held throughout St. Vincent and the Grenadines as the Government embarks on the formulation of a National Economic and Social Development plan catering for the years 2008-2020.
The plan will include all dimensions of the development paradigm (economic, social, environmental, political, cultural and institutional) into an integrative multi-sectoral policy agenda that promotes sustainable development throughout St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
The process involves developing a shared vision for the future of the State as well as deciding upon the major steps to be undertaken in order to move the country in the appropriate direction.
The first consultation will be held on Thursday May 3 at the Sandy Bay Learning Resource Centre from 5-7pm.
Persons North of Sandy Bay wishing to attend the consultation should gather at the Fancy Government School, the Owia Community Centre, and the main road in Point to be transported by the school buss at 4:00pm.
While persons South of Sandy Bay should gather at the main road in Orange Hill, the gap leading to the Overland Government School and the London Playing Field.
