Mission Statement
To advise on the formation of Government Policy as regards to public relations and information, and to implement such a policy effectively in collaboration with Government departments, agencies and the wider community by dissemination of information on Government plans and activities as well as other national development issues to as wide a public as possible, both at home and abroad.
Vision Statement
To establish an equipped unit of well trained professionals informing and educating the public at home and abroad through a fullsome dissemination of public information utilising all available media.
FOCI
- Dissemination of information on programmes and activities of Central Government, Statutory Bodies as well as Non-Governmental Organisations where there is a National Development focus.
- To advise on the formation of Policy regarding public relations thrusts in Government.
- Offer technical assistance to Government departments, which produce their own media-related programmes.
