much. Starting from Kingstown, we head towards the North
on the Leeward Highway until Chateaubelair and Richmond
Vale. Darvue Falls will be reached by foot, after a
short walk of 10 minutes on a nice track crossing agricultural
land and some very nice bamboo. Spend 40 mins at the
falls. Lunch is taken at The Beach Front Restaurant.
Visit to Fort Charlotte on our way back, before arrival
in Kingstown. Guide, drinks and lunch are included.

Falls of Baleine
A sight not to be missed, the Falls of Baleine,
accessible only by boat is nested snugly in the rain
forest on the extreme north end of St Vincent. The falls
can be reached by overland trek but the best and most
popular way is to take a power boat trip from Kingstown
or one of the fishing villages on the island's west
coast. The trip up the leeward side shows the great
diversity in the topography of St Vincent ($50 per person,
minimum 4 (6 - 7 hours)). The Front Office will assist
you in making arrangements to get there.
Fresh mountain water plunges 60 feet
into a natural cool pool, before running down towards
the sea. Standing beneath the fall is pure exhilaration;
a long way to go for a shower but well worth it. The
Falls of Baleine make a great day trip when combined
with diving, snorkeling and lunch. Visitors get a kick
out of climbing up under the falls, diving into the
pool and swimming in the cool water. Possible sightings
of Spinner Dolphins or whales - on the way, that is
- not in the pools or falls.
