The role of Central Medical Stores is to accurately forecast the medical and pharmaceutical needs of the nation procure supplies in a timely manner and efficiently distribute them to health care institutions, in order to meet the needs of the patients and to monitor the utilization of these supplies in order to ensure the cost effectiveness of the process.

The Milton Cato Memorial Hospital

The Milton Cato Memorial Hospital, formally known as the Kingstown General Hospital was established in the early 1800’s. This institution was renamed in 2002, in memory of the first Premier and Prime Minister of St Vincent & The Grenadines, Mr Robert Milton Cato.
