is designed to address as a first priority the issues
and constraints identified at the level of the farmer/
farm/ primary production unit - (financial and capital
    resources, labour management, community
empowerment and technology). It will also target
improvements to the marketing and disposal of
agricultural output in ways that add value while
meeting national needs for healthy foods and viable
    rural communities.

    programme?

To improve the standard of living of rural
    communities through the modernization and
    commercialization of the Agricultural Sector.

The critical issues to be addressed by the National

    4. Unsustainable environmental agricultural
    management and land use practices.

    6. Inadequate legislation and institutional
    arrangements for the integrated
    development sector.

    7. Weak community linkages to support the
    Agricultural Industry

  • How is the Programme implemented?
